Wiki & Product Testing Centers

Wiki

The Wiki is a collaborative website that includes descriptions of wheelchair test methods, related documentation including design drawings for the testing equipment, and step-by-step instructions on how to perform the tests. You can learn what this resource has to offer to new and existing testing lab centers to evaluate wheelchair products around the world. Link to Wiki! Questions? On June 30, ISWP hosted a free webinar on “ISWP’s new interactive tool for wheelchair product testing” available for you and your colleagues (link to recording below). 71 attendees from 21 countries participated in the webinar. You can access all the resources shared during the webinar here.

Testing Centers

A wheelchair testing center is a facility where standardized tests are performed on wheelchairs or wheelchair parts to evaluate performance and safety.  These tests might follow ISO (International Standards Organization) and/or local testing procedures.

We are creating a free resource with information about wheelchair testing centers around the world so that designers, manufacturers, clinicians, and researchers know who to contact at a testing center in their country.

Would you like to have your wheelchair testing centers featured in our website? If you are part of a testing facility, or if you know about one, please help us by filling this form. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at [email protected].
