while working with people who have disability we should take care of their psychological part in addition to the physical problem, because this psychological part could either help in progression and motivation or in worsening of the person with time
Peer wheelchair user groups can be very helpful for this purpose. Has your organization implemented anything like this? What strategies do you implement to support / promote the mental wellbeing of the wheelchair users that you serve?
